Inn Description: Historic 1846 Cobblestone House is situated on six peaceful acres surrounded by apple orchards and Beechwood State Park overlooking Maxwell Creek and Lake Ontario. Guest can hike in the park next door or fish off a 1/4 mile of prime private shoreline on Maxwell Creek and Maxwell Bay. Also perfect for kayaking and canoeing. The property is rumored to have been an Underground Railroad safe house and was recently recognized with the Legends & Lore of the Underground Railroad roadside plaque by the William G. Pomeroy Foundation.

WILLIAM SWALES ROOM: $140 – $145 2 beds in room. A full bed plus a twin, A/C, private bath, located on the second floor. Additional charge $15 per night when both beds are occupied.
MARY ELLEN SHUMWAY GAYLORD ROOM: $145 –$150 King bed, sitting area, A/C, private bath, overlooking Maxwell Creek, located on the second floor.
COBBLESTONE COTTAGE : Offers two separate efficiency suites perfect for groups, families and extended stay guests. Minimum 2 nights.
THE LOFT of this private Cobblestone guest house offers a private entrance into a kitchenette with a refrigerator, microwave and a coffeepot. Guest sleep in a big open loft with a cathedral ceiling, private bath, five single beds, plus a roll away Sitting area in front of the enormous beautiful brick fireplace, TV, AC and dining area. Outdoor gas grill and picnic tables available for guests use. These accommodations do not include breakfast. Sleeps 6 maximum. $300 for five people per night plus 8% sales tax ($50 each add’l). 2 night minimum stay.
THE WILLIAM T. GAYLORD SUITE is on the ground level of The Cobblestone guest house and is complete with private bath, combination sitting area and kitchenette, sofa, and four single beds. Refrigerator, microwave, coffeepot, outdoor gas grill and picnic table available for guests use. These accommodations do not include breakfast. Sleeps 4 comfortably. $248 for four people per night plus 8% sales tax. 2 night minimum stay. Please call for weekly rates.

From New York City and points east and south, take the New York State Thruway I90 west to exit 42, Geneva. Turn left onto Route 14 (north) to Sodus Point. Turn Left onto Lake Rd. in Sodus Point. Maxwell Creek Inn B&B is 2 miles on the Right.
South of Lake Ontario: Travelers from the Southern Tier can take Route 14 north to Sodus Point. Turn left on to Lake Road. Maxwell Creek Inn B&B is 2 miles on the right.
