Book any Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday during Maple Ski Ridge’s ski season. Simply choose Learn to Ski or Learn to Ski Deluxe when make your reservation. We take care of all the arrangements. You just choose when you want to take your lesson.
Lessons offered at 10am and 2pm Saturdays and Sundays. Maple Ski Ridge is a quick 10 minute drive.
Prices start at $479. Two week notice required for massages to insure availability.

About the Area: Mariaville Lake is a 200 acre lake located in western Schenectady County. The bicycling, motorcycling, and driving are super fun on all our great back roads. We’re just a few miles from the Mohawk Hudson Bike Trail. It is perfect for fishing, swimming, and canoeing. The community has a laid back peaceful vibe but you can be as active as you want and hike or bike. There is plenty of antiquing, shopping, and historical haunts nearby.
Inn Description: Rick and Lorrie Runnels purchased the home in November 2003 and after extensive renovations opened as a bed and breakfast in July 2004.
Mariaville Lake B & B is lakeside lodging at its best. Casual yet elegant, laid back yet with an amazing attention to detail. According to our guests, our 5 guestrooms are immaculate, clean, comfortable, and beautifully furnished. In-Room Massages are available with advance notice. We have spacious common rooms exclusively for guests, including the Living Room with a fire to read, relax, or make merry. Our glassed in porch embraces the lake and sky even in inclement weather. Spend evenings by the fire year round – in summer and fall at the fire pit by the lake and in the winter and spring by our wood-burning fireplace in the Living Room.
Your innkeepers, Rick and Lorrie provide warm, attentive hospitality, interesting suggestions for the area, (rich in local history), and a full candlelight breakfast. The business traveler will find comfortable accommodations in Schenectady County but out of the city. WiFi is provided.

Rooms Description: We offer five unique guest rooms; each filled with antiques, and all with queen beds, private bath and view of the lake. Most of the rooms have hardwood floors and original moldings. There are two marble fireplaces. The Lakeview and Vineyard Room are located in the oldest part of the house and open with skeleton keys. The Colonial Room occupies the former upstairs porch and the Country Room with a queen and twin is spacious and private. The Suite has a living room with morning bar, bedroom, and full bath.

Dining Information: There are several nice restaurants within a 20 minute drive.
Specials: We really do want to support live music. Going to shows is one of our favorite things to do and we love to meet others who feel the same way. If you are attending a concert or arts event in the Capital Region, make it a really special night and reserve a room with us. Show us your ticket and receive 10% off the regular room rate. Shows at Proctors, the Egg, Palace Theater, Revolution Hall, Northern Lights, Times Union Center and many others all qualify. Advance reservations required, subject to availability. Mariaville events not included.
Locations / Directions: We are located in the hamlet of Mariaville in the town of Duanesburg. It is nice and quiet with views of the lake from every room. Great biking! Just 15-20 minutes from Amsterdam or Schenectady, and a 30 minute highway drive to Albany.

Lemon ricotta pancakes with sausage were so delicious we wanted to stay longer. Great couple- friendly and social. The huge house has many nice comfortable clean rooms. There are kayak and canoe options included- huge pretty lake in the front yard.
An awesome bed & breakfast. Very cool house, cute rooms, and incredibly nice hosts. Breakfast was excellent, and there is coffee and tea available at all times. View of the lake is spectacular, as are the grounds. Rick and Lorrie even have kayaks and paddles to take out onto the lake! Great spot for any type of stay – romantic, vacation, or just passing through.
Fabulous place, fabulous people, amazing food, amazing scenery, do yourself a favor and visit. Year round this destination is a delight! Absolutely wonderful on every level. If you are looking for quiet beautiful serenity with delightful hosts, this is definitely your place
